The application allows controlling the access of personnel to the industrial plant, through a random alcohol and/or drug test carried out prior to the start of the working day. This is based on statistics and samples of the daily number of tests carried out on each employee of the company.

Collaboration in the project included the creation of a native app for the Android operating system, which would allow the reading of barcodes on workers’ identification cards. In addition to designing, building, and implementing the electronic circuit to turn on an alert beacon, synchronized with the app at the time of randomly choosing the worker who will be tested for alcohol or drugs.
